The World Shortest Man And How He Died:Khagendra Thapa Magar, a man from Nepal, was officially recognized by the Guinness World Records (GWR) as the smallest man living only 67 cm, until his death at the age of 27.
Magar was given birth in the Baglung district, Nepal, on the 14th of October, 1992.
18 years later, he was measured in a hospital at Fewal, where he was awarded the title of the world’s shortest man by the Guinness World Records (GWR).
A throwback statement from his father goes thus:
“He was so tiny when he was born that he could fit into the palm of your hand”
Before his death, Magar suffered from various illnesses which included, but were not limited to, asthma and Pneumonia.
He will surely be remembered the world over, and we will do well to keep this person’s memory in our hearts. He did not have the easiest life, especially with his medical complications, and its truly saddening that this world renowned GWR title holder died at the young age of 27.
